1. The Program
Come with us to discover the mountains around Oporto region close to the neighboring city of Valongo and get to know the "Porto Mountain Park". Here you will walk the Stª Justa and Pias Mountains, along the banks of the river Ferreira, until the small picturesque Couce village (with less than 10 inhabitants). You will walk calmly in the mountains, surrounded by vegetation, where you can enjoy magnificent landscapes from the top of the mountain and next to the river. On the way you will also pass by ancient remains of the Roman gold mines and water mills. You will also see goats and sheep grazing and some (few) locals. Halfway, we will take a break to rest and enjoy a picnic with snaks, wine, local cheeses and hams and seasonal fruit.
