1. The Program
Come and discover the charm of the mountains of the North of Portugal and the most emblematic place in the City of Braga. This tour starts in the city of Porto with destination to "Peneda-Gerês National Park". We will explore places of great natural beauty that the mountain of Gerês has to show us. We will walk to the imposing “Calcedonia Rift”. Then we will have a pleasant lunch in a typical restaurant, but before that we're going to stop to see the large dam of "Vilarinho das Furnas", on the Cávado River. During the afternoon, we will continue our journey through the mountain, passing by the "Pedra Bela" viewpoint, “Arado Waterfall” and the "Wolf´s Trail”. On the way back to Oporto, we will stop in the city of Braga, where we will visit “Bom Jesus do Monte” with its “Santuário”, imposing staircase and the “funicular elevator”.
